Roots circling in their pot? This is a sign your plant outgrew its pot, and it could be choking off water and nutrients.

This leaves your plant friend unable to thrive, in most cases (but not all, so do your research).

In the veg garden, this works great for herbs, tomatoes, and peppers, but root crops, legumes, and cucumbers may suffer stunting because they don’t love root disturbance.
