I’m talking about cabbage pests again because now I have the other type making a salad bar out of my cabbages.
Here are the two types of cabbage worms you will most likely encounter and a few organic suggestions for protecting your garden from their destruction.
CABBAGE WORM:

The green cabbage worm, which is the caterpillar of the cabbage white butterfly, can be a dangerous pest in your garden. There is another green one called a Cabbage Looper, which inches along by arching its back.
CROSS-STRIPPED CABBAGE WORM:

Equally destructive, the cross-striped cabbage worm is the caterpillar of brown moth and there are usually dozens of them on one plant.
Prevention includes hand picking them off, exclusion using an insect netting, or spraying Bt (an organic bacteria and not harmful not chemicals).
