I found a new chicken coop caper recently… black rat snakes or “chicken snakes” are not poisonous and get 5-6 feet long!
I don’t harm the snakes I find. They are beneficial to my ecosystem, even thought the birds don’t like it… but this type eats vermin and can kill other deadly snakes, like copperhead snakes! I’d say that’s worth keeping them around.
