Cross-Striped Cabbage Worm

This is the cross-striped cabbage worm. You’ll find these bad boys in the spring and fall, devouring your brassica plants. The best way to get rid of them is to remove them by hand or spray B.t.

Prevention includes hand picking them off, exclusion using an insect netting, or spraying Bt (an organic bacteria and not harmful not chemicals).
