Bringing the Citrus Inside for the Cold Weather

I love growing citrus where I live, but we aren’t warm enough to sustain them through the winters in zones 7B-8A. With cooler temps looming overnight, it’s time to roll these girls back into the house for protection.

I use the heavy-duty plant rollers / dollies pictured below to roll my citrus trees inside and outside during the seasons. If you’d like to learn how to make these self-watering planters, please visit: “How to Make Self-Watering Pots for Citrus.”

Another awesome idea people I have seen is people planting the trees in rolling carts. I loved the idea but needed something more inexpensive for all my trees.
