After hatching a Cecropia moth cocoon a few weeks back and saving three more that I found trapped in the chicken coop… I never expected to also experience a Luna moth!
This is also a member of the giant silk moth family, with a wingspan up to 4.5 inches!
I’m not sure which of the two I love more… both are incredibly beautiful.
