Worm Bin Update for Vermicompost

Some folks asked about my worm farm setup so I wanted to provide an update…

The plastic tote setup works, but I felt like the environment stayed too wet and never dried out enough to harvest castings. So I moved everything over to my Subpod System and the worms seem MUCH happier in a better environment.

You can use the DIY tutorial video to make the stacked bin system, but a few things may improve the setup:

1. Try bigger totes/boxes.
2. Keep one side for feeding and one side clean.
3. Add more holes so it dries out better.
4. You can try adding more paper/leaves to balance the system.
5. Remove the holes from the lid to keep the rain out.
