Oh, HAILLL NO! I didn’t expect hail.
But boy, am I glad I noticed the maters needed fertilizer today and didn’t want the rains to dilute them… so I put them under chairs with cushions to protect them. Whewwww!
Hail can do serious damage to seedlings. Thankfully some of my stuff in the garden is still covered with mesh cages to protect from deer and chickens. A practice I’m grateful I’ve continued for reasons like this.
