Thinking about growing mint? DO IT. Get some in every variety! 🌱
It’s delicious, smells incredible, survives almost anything, and comes back strong every year.
Tea. Cocktails. Fruit. Sauces. Desserts. Lemon water. Digestive aid. Endless uses.
Just one warning: Mint spreads FAST. Like ‘accidentally owns your garden’ fast.
See how I use window boxes to contain my various mint varieties, and then how I hang those boxes vertically for display.

VERTICAL WINDOW BOX GARDEN PROJECT LIST:
HANGING WINDOW BOXES:
TOOLS:
- Battery Powered Dril
- Large drill bit for making drainage holes
- Oil-Based White Paint Pen
- Flip your plastic window boxes upside down and drill a few holes to allow for proper drainage. Fill each planter box with soil and the desired plants for growing in the space.
- Hang 2-3 retail grid hooks in an even height so the window boxes will lay level on top of them.
- Take one bungee cord and place one hook around a cross bar, wrapping the flexible bungee around the window box, holding it in place by connecting the second hook on the other side.
- Level the window box and bungee cord to your liking so they sit flat, if needed.
