Plant natives. Invasive plants threaten the environment
Please be aware and stop buying invasive species at the greenhouses this year. They may look pretty but can be highly destructive to our environment, local wildlife, and native plant species. A sample list is included in the images, but please research which species are regarded as invasive in your local area.

Chicken care is hard and not always easy
Yesterday was rough. I ended up tending to a chicken that I thought was eggbound (at first). I’m not experienced enough to know if she had a tumor or if this was another case of egg peritonitis, where the egg misses the tube and ends up embedded in their system. According to my vet (the last time I went through this), it is very common at the 3-4 year age mark.
I would’ve brought her to the vet but it was around 8-9 pm and after checking around, none were open.
As a last ditch effort for advice or help, I went on live last night to see if anyone in the community could assist. I posted that to YouTube in case anyone wants further information (prob some teachable moments in there–and I should warn that there is one lewd person I let into the Live because I thought they were coming to assist me).
But she passed shortly after I started the live and was laid to rest with her sisters that have gone before her.
