Now that I’ve cleaned out the side garden that housed the Cutleaf Coneflowers, let’s utilize this garden space to grow okra!
Normally I like to presoak seeds overnight to soften their hard exterior, but I think we can direct sow the seeds in the ground because the recent heavy rain we had kept the ground wet.
Varieties I’m planting:
- Clemson Spineless (common classic)
- Hill Country Red (short, wide variety)
- Red Burgundy (red variety)
- Cajun Jewel
- Bamyeh Falastinia (Palestine variety)
