Sometimes planting seeds directly outside is easier, cheaper, and produces better results… there is no transplanting, no root disruption, no hardening off, and no acclimation to different conditions which can temporarily stunt roots, etc.
This should be good for most areas now, but check your local soil temperature to make sure it is at least 60 degrees reliably.

NOTE: I did include okra on this list, but I tend to soak those seeds overnight for better germination.
