Awe, eight years ago I had no clue what I was doing and decided to become a chicken mama. I didn’t grow up with chickens and I didn’t even have a coop yet! But I was determined to start my journey with chickens.

These mini “Chunky Cluckers” are the reason I started calling my original space the Lil Urban Farm, upgrading its status from just a few gardens to on that finally included other farm animals. I had no idea that they would be one of the catalysts to Lil Urban Farm becoming what it came to be, along with COVID.

For those who do not know, these lil babes are the chickens represented in my logo, along with my old soul pup, Brenner. They will always be part of Lil Urban Farm’s birth story.
